Oil & Gas

For many years MF Marine have provided logistical support to the oil industry, in particular the many semi-submersible and jack-up rigs that visit the Cromarty Firth for inspection, repair & maintenance, layby or stacking.

This work includes cargo transfer operations, delivery of potable water, crew transfers, safety standby cover for over side work, and assistance with rope access, scaffolding, painting and diving operations.  We also provide more specialised services such as towing bridle change out and anchor chain removal/reinstatement.  We are frequently involved in the movement of subsea structures around the Cromarty Firth, from the various fabrication shops in the area to rigs and subsea vessels that visit.  These structures are often high value, long lead time items and we have the experience to ensure that these movements are carried out with minimum fuss, maximum safety and efficiency.
